I have Sjögrens disease which causes severe dry mouth, especially at night. I was getting a lot of cavities, so I tried this gel and another brand. This is far superior. Has a pleasant taste and the consistency makes the moisture last through the night. Highly recommend!

I use this at bedtime w/ my CPAP. Works well for the fist few hours and then my mouth is dry again.

I received radiation treatments which damaged my salivary glands. I’ve been told by multiple dentists that my mouth is the driest they’ve ever seen. It’s caused all kinds of dental issues for me and, unfortunately, my mouth is so dry that I get a thrush type infection at least once a month. Extremely painful! It is imperative that I keep my mouth as moist as possible. I used to use Biotene mouth gel religiously, however, ever since the pandemic, as I’ve seen with so many other products that are necessary for one’s health and comfort, it has become increasingly difficult to find Biotene and when you do find it, the prices are ridiculous! It took me a little while to get used to the consistency of this product. It’s much thicker than the biotene gel. And it’s a mild mint flavor which is very uncomfortable for anyone suffering from severe dry mouth. I really don’t understand why people who manufacture or create products for dry mouth don’t do enough research to be aware of the fact that our super dry mouths are very sensitive and we can’t use mint flavored products! Mint flavor burns! I can’t even use adult toothpaste anymore. They are ALL mint flavored. I now have to use children’s fruit flavored toothpastes as the adult mint flavored toothpaste burns my mouth terribly. Unfortunately, this product does have a mild mint flavor so it does burn my tongue initially but, thankfully, the burning dissipates after about a minute and once the burning stops, this product actually seems to work better than the Biotene gel. I believe that even if Biotene became more readily available at a reasonable price, I would still use THIS product instead. And you get 2 tubes per box for a fairly reasonable price. I’m so glad I found it!

Tried to use for my lips. Worked OK but a little thick. I like the Biotene version better. It seems more moisturizing.

I was troubled with a dry mouth at night and would often wake up because of it. My dentist recommended this and it works very well. I wake up less often and I am more comfortable when I sleep. It is easy to use and unobtrusive.
